Hey I was offered a contingent offer for the job I interview. I was super excited for the position but who knew that all this stress would follow?? I am super anxious as soon as I wake up every morning and my bp is up. It kind of tapers off after I meditate and eat something. I think what worries me is that i will have to be in an office from 830 to 530 instead of working from home most of the time. Its easier to just stay home when I'm not feeling well but not with a new job.

I got the job
Well done for getting the job - that's not easy these days! Just take it one step at a time as you are bound to be anxious about starting a new job. You might be able to adapt to being in the office so try not to look too far ahead. x
Way to go! New things are scary. I understand that. Perhaps you will soar beyond what you think you can. Keep us updated.
Congratulations on the new job! I am sure that there will be stressful moments as you begin the new adventure. It is definitely normal and you are not alone in feeling that way. As hypercat said, take things one step at a time. If one day at a time is overwhelming, look at each new task, each orientation, and each learning experience. Know that each one is contributing to your development as a person and an employee. Hope that helps!

Live in the moment and just be happy you got the job!!! Of course it's easier to stay home, but you will get used to the new routine. You should be celebrating that your efforts seeking employment have paid off, so get on with the celebrating!!! Don't stress, you'll be fine.
