Hi I know its normal to get anxious going to hospital and with pandemic as well it's worse.
I'm having day surgery tomorrow and trying to keep calm but I'm panicking.i have ocd which has got worse this last yr with everything. I've got sanitizer to take I'm worried they wont understand panic attacks and I'll feel and idiot
Sorry I'm rambling but I hope u understand what I'm trying to say

You are right anxiety around hospital visits, test, procedures is really normal but no less challenging. I have always found that if I tell the staff in hospital that I experience panic and anxiety they are helpful and understanding and hopefully they will put you at your ease. Once it's done don't forget to acknowledge to yourself that you got through an anxious time. 🙂
