I used to be scared of needles too. However as I grew into adulthood, and became ill with many chronic illnesses, I had to have my blood drawn and tested a lot. I also had to get constant migraine shots, which were so worth the stinging shot for the relief. Because of getting stuck so many times, I now don't even flinch. That needle is NOT there to hurt you and it WILL not hurt you, you are being stuck to help you. Just remember that. And if ANYBODY can tell you needles wont hurt you (other than the poke) it's me. A couple tips: DON'T LOOK unless it makes you feel better to look. Close your eyes and try to RELAX. And ALWAYS ask them to count to THREE before sticking you. Hope this helps!
