Drs. Debra Kissen and Paul Greene hosted a live webinar on December 5 (now available free on-demand at adaa.org) focused on Intrusive thoughts: how to recognize intrusive thoughts, how they differ from other anxiety symptoms, and tools and techniques to move past them. There were many questions asked throughout and after the webinar/ Drs. Kissen and Greene agreed to answer 10 of the most frequently asked questions in this blog post.
I feel like no point carrying on, but how would people who know you feel if that actually happened. Watch it's a wonderful life,a film from long ago and it shows how much a single person changes other lives. I know and understand it, but also keep in my head what it would do to my few friends who are far away but are bothered about me. Family arent but friends are my family.
Just take a few deep breaths and try to concentrate on one things, like a wash,or shower. Then dress, each thing is an accomplishment, I dont feelike doing this, but it makes ME feel better when it's done.
Take good care and keep that strong part you stoll have strong. It's there, use it xxxxx

Intrusive thoughts all the way that affects my self-esteem. I am aware of it but it's so hard to control. I promise I am not a shallow person but I obsess about my weight, my looks, my achievements, the "correct" order of achieving certain tasks or goals, failure and failure, and failure.
