Sometimes it feels like we're never going to be able to overcome our anxiety disorder. It's not easy, but it is possible.

ADAA member James Cowart, PhD, wrote a blog offering professional advice about different ways to overcome anxiety disorders.

"Coping skills are about facing the problem, not running away from it," Cowart says. "In that way, you may avoid temporary distractions in favor of long-term gain."

Hello, yup, it seems that there is no light at the end of the tunnel. But we must embrace hole heartedly the small glimmers of light that stream through the darkness. You must remind yourself, that you really don't want to stay stuck forever. Which you are doing already.Thank you for sharing.

If I may dare. Everything you are talking about is stress related..I bet if you could take the stress. ( I mean bits of it)

You would find less anxiety.

( It works for most people)

I am glad I don't have a family anymore. Except for Xmas and birthday's. Because I know from listening to other people's Stuff.

Families can suck.

For years I ran away from stuff. Because of extreme anxiety and fear. But now as far as I can. I try to face stuff head on. Even if that means not being very nice.

You know why. ?

'I shouldn't have to put up with it."

With depression you have got to trust somebody that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Sometimes you have to kind of put yourself in to hybanation. It terms of your goals and aspirations.

Don't ever give up.

The light that that shines from you on this website.is absolutely awesome.

I wouldn't be following you if you weren't brilliant.

Even though it's only digital , you are a true friend.

I said if I may dare. I feel suitably admonished.

I didn't mean to upset, you. That's the last thing I wanted to do. You are right all of us are different but my intention wasn't to boss you around . Or to judge you. .

Even if this text isn't right for you, I hope it helped somebody.

Thank you for the apology. I felt dreadful. That for you I had got everything wrong.

We can overcome. It may not be 100% because sometimes things will sneak in when we are vulnerable.

I have worked on myself for years. I have gotten to the core of my issues and developed a great tool box of coping skills.

We do have to face the issues. If things become stagnant we need to take another path.

This is hard work. Giving in or giving up was not an option for me. Mindset has so much to do with this.

Thank you for the post.
