I’m a book worm. I love a good story. If you can be so kind share what you’re reading. It can be anything from self help books, fiction, nonfiction whatever. It can be your favorite book you read for the 10th time like mine is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. ❤️❤️❤️

Currently, I'm reading The Complete Poems of Philip Larkin, edited by Archie Burnett; The Collected Poems of Elizabeth Jennings, edited by Emma Mason; The Last Nostalgia: Poems 1982-1990 by Joe Bolton, edited by Donald Justice; Compendium: A Collection of Thoughts on Prosody by Donald Justice, edited by David Koehn and Alan Soldofsky; 50 Contemporary Poets: The Creative Process, edited by Alberta T. Turner; All The Fun's In How You Say A Thing: An Explanation Of Meter & Versification by Timothy Steele; and (with some reservations) How to Read a Poem by Edward Hirsch.

😼 Heh heh ... my brain often feels similarly when reading the actual books (particularly the latter four) ... Partly as a countermeasure and partly due to a short attention span, I usually read in short bursts (and switch between multiple books), which works well when reading poetry because it allows me to reread and linger on a variety of individual poems.

14.

It's a mystery novel about a group of tenants living in a building in LA who discover a bunch of mysterious things about where they live. The building is old and on the historical register. Apartment 14 is pad locked. Apartment 16 is never rented out, but the door is usually open and everyone's apartment has a different floorplan. The elevator has never worked although the management person always says it will be fixed next week.

The investigation begins there.

It's a good, fun read.

The tenants are kind of like the Mystery Gang.

The book takes a bit of an odd turn towards the end, but ties itself together nicely. It's the first of a three-part series. Just finished it, so I'll start book two soon.

I enjoy reading a good book!!! Today and tonight I'm just enjoying that it's Friday and I'm planning on watching Jimmy Fallon tonight. I love his thank you notes thing he does every Friday!!! I just bought what looks like a good self help book from Target, but I only just started reading it. It's titled Burnout or something like that and it's about how women especially get stressed out and how sometimes women handle stress differently than men do. Target has some interesting books, I've noticed.

I have a thriller called hard cash valley sitting here. Lately I have been into true crime podcast series. Bear Brooke is really good. Bunga Bunga is another.

I love true crime stories! And thrillers! Which is weird cause I have anxiety and I do get anxious for the character 😬 but ooh I love to know how it ends!

I’ve really just gotten into true crime this past year wondery has a bunch of podcasts that are really good. There is one about the Canadian version of Harvey Weinstein. A lot more colorful character but very dark story. Bunga Bunga is almost funny. He is Milan trump decades ago.

I just got done reading a horror book called Don't Move by James Murray and Darren Wearmouth. Not recommended if you have arachnophobia 😂

I like reading too. Nonfiction and fiction both. Here are some books that you may find interesting. I've read two of the books below (Fade to White and Dust) that deal with depression and anxiety. They're written for a wide audience but are from faith-based Young Adult authors. FYI: I own a hardcover copy of "Coral" and intend to read it over the summer.

Fade to White by Tara. K. Ross (Genres: Anxiety, Depression, and Mental Illness. Rated: Clean & Wholesome.)

Dust by Kara Swanson (Although it is not straightforward, I have picked up on themes such as: Depression, Family Issues, and Trauma. Genres: Contemporary Fantasy, Folklore Adaptations, and Sibling Fiction. Rated: Clean and reading ages from 13-17 years old.)

Coral by Sara Ella (Genres: Depression, Clean & Wholesome Romance, Mental Illness, and Mermaid Fiction. Rated: Reading ages from 13 years old and up.)
