What memories brings laughter or make... - Anxiety and Depre...
What memories brings laughter or makes you smile or makes you feel comforted in some way?
When I think about the times I’ve laughed so hard I was crying and rolling on the ground, it takes me back 😂😂😂
Some memories that make me smile/feel comforted to some degree are the ones with the best hugs I’ve ever had. I love hugs I love the warmth and closeness Other memories that make me smile are ones about the good times I’ve had with friends.
A long time ago when I was in a pretty bad place, I had a dream. Normally I don’t remember dreams from way back, but this one I do. In this dream, I wasn’t feeling good (reflecting reality). Then out of nowhere, someone was there with me, asked if I needed a hug, and then hugged me (all of which I lacked in reality, but really wanted). I remember waking up and feeling comforted by this dream. It came right when I needed it
Thanks for the post, Gentlespirit, it’s good to remember the good times
My moms hugs and kisses my brothers laughter my brothers smile ❤️❤️
These memories are wonderful and when your struggling with anxiety or depression or whatever bring your brothers smile or concentrate on feeling your mother's hugs or kisses and those images and feelings will help to reduce your anxiety and or help to keep you grounded.
Memories of time with my dog 🐾❤️
Remembering my grandparents. My grandpa was a lot nicer to me than my dad is.
Grandparents can be a very positive influence and great place to go. I loved going to visit my grandparents too. I'm glad you have good memories of your grandpa. How is your relationship with your dad today? It may not be too late to have a relationship ask yourself what do you need and what would you like to do with your dad?
Thank you, but my dad's not going to change.
I cannot change another yet I can change myself. As time passes some things do change. Gradually. Create in me a clean heart o Lord.. All it takes is a willingness to change. Miracles do happen. I believe my steps are guided and that everything happens for a reason. We are each an integral part interconnected and i just remembered someone saying--be part of the problem or part of the solution. Most people are in the middle though I think. Life has challenge s at each stage and how we act or react makes a difference. Have you ever read the book. Tuesday s with Morrie? Or as a man thinketh so is he. Check it out. Take care.
Taking care of dogs at the rescue shelter. Loved them and had nicknames for all! Laughing until I almost pass out. Does anyone here watch Impractical Jokers? There’s a compilation on YouTube of Sal falling down laughing. I defy anyone to watch that and not at least chuckle! 🤣
Put on a funny movie and see if it makes you and Bella feel better. Your dog is sensitive to emotions and may be picking up on your apprehension or may be having some anxiety or health issues of her own. If theres no improvement try calling the vet. Be observant of her changes in behavior and sleeping patterns and when she urinates and defecates the color of it and if she seems to be in pain or is listless. Also is Bella drinking much water? Does she feel warmer than usual or cooler or about the same? Its important to note any changes goingon to provide the vet with as much details as possible.
