Hi everyone. I'm new here . I have BPD. No one knows except for my brother and my boyfriend. Recently it caused some problems in my relationship that I don't know how to fix. I just don't know how to talk about it and I get so alone sometimes. I feel like no one understands. I always want something to make me feel different/better I had some problems with weed and meth but now I've been sober for more than 3 months and it feels like everything is falling apart and I don't know how to control it.

Hi Violet. I’m Andy. Firstly a very warm welcome to the group. You are most welcome here.
I’m sorry that you are having such a tough time. It’s so important for you to talk. You may feel you want to unburden yourself to strangers in helplines, or groups. This is because we tend to not want to worry our families or friends. You decide if you feel safe to talk to them. As long as you are talking to someone then it’s all good.
There are groups out there specialising in BPD. Please look them up. We are also here for you. We are your support. Many may know exactly how you are feeling, some may not know what you are feeling but we can listen. Consider talking to your G.P. If you have then great. If not then they can refer you to a specialist.
Congratulations on conquering your addictions. Hard work but you did it. That’s amazing.
Please keep talking and reaching out.
Andy.
