Granted a question for my GP but thought I would check here first instead of the busy phone calls

I went from 10 Mg of Escatalopram because I thought it had run it’s course and was feeling fine but get a very heavy head and dizziness. I think it’s related to a chemical imbalance I have been on it for 10 years with no issues . I was just switched to Zoloft (50mg) and as they are both SSRI there was no tapering .Recently also put on Bisopropolol and Plavix and Rosuvastatin for a heart condition. One of the drugs is causing Nausea and heavy head dizziness... not sure what it can be ...never had any problems until heart meds were introduced

Any Thoughts?

Hello DarcyI would Google the medication and read about side effects.

Also doctors don't know everything. I

People think they are God's and take their word for everything.

My doctor's come and go which is ok because I have had some lovely doctors and a few I didn't take to.

I wish the latest one would leave.

Is there any other medical professionals you can contact?

Darcy, do you have DR.IQ?

I find it so so much better than those phone calls and. 'You are being held in a queue' and in the meantime listen to the music and finally you get a response but then I could not get that tune out of my head.😮

If your insurance covers it or if you can afford it, and you are in the US, try Teledoc. You sign up on the computer, but then have a live phone or computer conversation with a doctor. It is very fast. I signed up, and 10 minutes later was talking to a doctor. (I was worried about something I had eaten by mistake). If your insurance doesn't cover it the cost is about $99 per time.
