Lots of changes...

Some days I feel like myself then I have these days full of anxiety. My job has changed alot over the last couple weeks and I'm having a hard time with the changes...I dont like change but I'm struggling with comparing myself to how others are dealing with things I feel fragile or weak and not myself...which is making me feel over anxious and upset alot. Lots of repetitive thoughts...Out of my comfort zone. Anyone else relate?

Hi i tool have been struggling with anxiety alot and its horrible mine has affected my sleep too sometimes..changing hobs is very stressful so i can relate to how you feel...have you always suffered with anxiety and are you on meds? Or any counselling?

I fully understand not being comfortable at work. I see others just going with the flow and I just can't do that. I think you need to give it sometime to adjust. Change is not easy.

Yes. Balancing work and my mental health issues has been a big challenge. I rarely get stressed by my actual job/workload....it's trying to do it with depression, anxiety and ocd. Also coping with negative coworkers. I wish I had an answer for you. I find every few years I have to take time off or even leave my job. I know not everyone can always do that. I wish you the best.

Hi @Twyla23 I do empathize with you and understand how change can bring anxiety. You are doing your best coping with all the changes in your job and I want to encourage you to be gentle with yourself. I hope and pray you get the strength to face one day at a time. All the best.

Yes. I can relate to changes at work. My job duties have shifted 3 times in 2 years. It sometimes can be stressful - I want familiar most of the time. To cope - I try to focus on what I can control. I try to accomplish something each day and keep a list of those things - to remind me later. I pray for God's wisdom and strength often. It is so much easier with God's help. I tend not to worry as much. I also appreciate my church small group giving me encouragement. Prayers for your future accomplishments and feeling good about them! God Bless!
