Hi Starrlight, great question! Very timely. Yesterday at work a manager praised me for being so positive. And my response was: really? It made me a little sad because no one knows the “real” me.

I try to keep my negativity to myself. It doesn’t always work, nor should it. I’m not a machine (as much as I would prefer to be a machine). Another manager told me I’m a hard worker, and I am.

I really not good at very much. I'm the best friend you'll ever have. I hold promises as sacred trusts. So if I promise you anything I will keep my word. I have been known to stay by their side even when they were truly guilty. I make a killer lasagna & chicken stew.

I live my entire life to see others laugh or at very least smile. People need to learn that life is not to be taken so seriously. We are here to do the best we can with whatever cards we're dealt. Nobody's perfect (thank God) so laugh at yourself in the end when you get to heaven all that matters is what's in your heart & soul. So cut yourself some slack and let the small things go. Once you start to choose your battles you'll be surprised at just how very little is worth fighting about. Choose to be happy instead of right.

Please teach me not to take it so seriously then... I don’t get it ... I’m constantly afraid I’ll make a wrong move... but I say hmmm everything that’s meant to be will be sometimes it’s not easy to believe. Haha I forgot the question too! Erm 😕 you’re awesome!!! And funny! And strong enough to laugh in life and I can tell you have a good heart.

So make a wrong move. Did the sun stop shining? Did the birds fall from the sky? Did you break out in hives? Ok that last one might happen but so what if it did. You're still the beautiful person you were before you gave yourself hives. There are so many things in this world to fear: covid, civil unrest, skyrocketing crime, economic collapse, an entire generation tethered to smart phones no one truly cares if you fart in the Post Office.
