No surgery for now!

Ortho doc said everything looks good, so I don’t need surgery for now! Yay! He will keep monitoring to make sure it is healing properly. Next appointment is Wednesday. Unfortunately I need to continue with the plaster splint covered by an ace bandage. It is quite uncomfortable as it covers my elbow keeping it a right angle and my hand is curved forward. It is awkward especially when sleeping. Doc said 3 weeks in plaster splint, 3 weeks in a short cast (I will be able to straighten my arm again!), and then a brace if all continues well.

I’m struggling with motivation. I need to get busy, but I just don’t feel like it. Trying hard not to fall back into the hole where I was unable to function.
