Growing up in a military family, my parents always did what we called checkpoints. It was time to check in and see how someone was doing and made sure that everything was okay. If I was stressed out with school or homework they’d tell me that it’s time for a break and they’d check in with me.
So, here is my feeble attempt at trying the same thing here.
How are you doing? Have you had any water today? Have you eaten anything yet? Have you taken your meds? Have you made that appointment you’ve been putting off? How are you feeling right now?
It’s okay to have bad days or to not be okay but remember that bad days don’t mean it’s a bad life.
Hope that you’re doing well and doing what’s best for you.
Take care 🤗🖤

Beautiful picture, not a bad day. Had a good texting session with a local peer support I joined recently, helped motivate me to write stuff I had been putting off.Check-in a good idea, how are you doing? Right now feeling more hopeful
Thank you for the reminder. I just drank my first water of the day. It's time to try to eat something. I wish this post could pop up every day, and I might not get so lost.
Thanks! Hiba does that; daily "How are you doing" posts. No one minds! It's a daily gathering place. But she doesn't offer the specific prompts as you've done. It was just what I needed.
I for one would not get sick of it one bit!
We could keep each other entertained thusly:
A magician gets a parrot for his act
After a couple weeks performing with the magician, the parrot starts to heckle him during the shows:. "It's under his hat..." "It's up his sleeve..." "His assistant has it."
The magician is performing on a cruise ship when the ship sinks. He wakes up on a piece of driftwood with the parrot standing on the opposite end. The parrot and the magician spend 2 days floating at sea without saying a word.
Finally the parrot says "Alright, I give up. Where's the boat?"
What a great post gilded. I have everything checked off for the day. It's a good reminder in taking care of ourselves as well as knowing others care. The thing I like best is that "a bad day doesn't mean a bad life" Thank you dear one. I care xx
