Med combinations

I am brand new to the community/forum world but I really wanted to give it a try. I’ve been on a few different med combinations over the last 15 years or so and seemed to be having luck with Wellbutrin 300mg and cymbalta 30mg taken together. Each one taken by itself did not give needed results but in combination for about a year and a half had good luck, felt strong and for the first time in years could say I actually felt GOOD and then just a few months back it almost seemed as if my anxiety became very erratic. In the past bumping the cymbalta up to 60 mg only made me want to sleep all the time so my doctor thought after so many years of trying with cymbalta (because we also tried it for me back in 2011, also Paxil and lexapro did not help me) that I would benefit from taking the Wellbutrin with Pristiq starting it at 50mg for 6 weeks and also vitamin d since my level was low, and hydroxyzine to help my mind stop racing at night so I could actually fall asleep. My anxiety in the past has caused me to avoid taking any meds altogether out of fear of them, also would panic about using the phone, making appointments, talking to people in general so I would avoid it until the anxiety attacks got so bad it was as if i was having a heart attack. Just from Google i can’t find many people who have tried these two drugs together, most people only taking the Pristiq by itself. Anyone have experiences with this combo?

Hi: I was on Cymbalta for more than two years I was on 90mgs. Recently, I decided that the Cymbalta wasn't working for me and I asked my doctor to change the medication. So as I reduced the Cymbalta and I started Pristiq 25mg. I ended up going to the ER 3 times because of heart palpitations. Eventually I went to a cardiologist who tested me and nothing was found. This went on for weeks and the outcome was the doctors thought it was the Pristiq. I am off both Cymbalta and Pristiq. The palpitations have ceased. I'm now on Elavil and this drug is an older antidepressant and it has a lot of interactions and it's not for everyone (I took it years ago when I was in a deep depression) I have taken more medications in the past that I care to remember so I went to Elavil and it's working.
