Medicine tries to free man from diseases superficially, at the level of body which is symptoms relief. Even when he’s free from all his diseases, man does not become free from the basic disease that comes with being man, the desire for the impossible. Man’s disease means not being satisfied with anything that makes all he achieves futile, and attaches significance to whatever he does not have. If the inner being is diseased, the ripples reach the outer level, the body.
Medical science will be complete the day we understand the inner side of man because the diseased person who is sitting within us creates a thousand and one illness at the outer level, the body. The cure for the disease of being man is meditation. Meditation has two parts: the beginning and the end. The beginning is called dhyana and the end is called samadhi. Dhyana is the seed, samadhi is the flowering. Dhyana means becoming aware of all workings of your mind, all the layers of your mind such as your memories, your desires, your thoughts, dreams that becoming aware of all that goes on inside you. Dhyana is awareness, and samadhi is when the awareness has become so deep, so profound, so total that it is like a fire and it consumes the whole mind and all its functionings. It consumes thoughts, desires, ambitions, hopes, dreams. It consumes the whole stuff the mind is full of. Samadhi is the state when awareness is there, but there is nothing to be aware inside you; the witness is there, but there is nothing to be witnessed. In that tranquility, in that calmness, you become aware of a luminous quality to existence. Begin with dhyana, with meditation, and end in samadhi, in ecstasy, and you will be cured, you will know what God is.❤️
I wholeheartedly agree with this. Medicine cannot change your inner being. That part of you is already complete. The next step would be to be aware of it, become the "watcher" sort to speak.
From doing meditation for some time now, I realize it's not just about having no thoughts when I meditate because thoughts are going to arise regardless. I work on just noticing them and when that happens, they can then be off on their way. Sometimes I will have dozens of thoughts, but that's ok. You can simply say to yourself, "oh, is that so?"
Oh my just left for a min and so many replies. Where can I start? 🤣😂😂😂

When I was on train I could only see as far has the woods. Maybe 40 yards or so. I was also on a train after 9/11. I met a gal that was in one of the towers and she escaped and was going back home. She was under the seat when I saw her. All her identity and purse and stuff was in the tower yet. Gave her a clean towel and wash rag and a new tooth brush for her to freshen up with. Alot more happened that day.

Oh my what a story. I bet she appreciated your support 👍

She did. I also helped her out in Cleveland when the press heard there was someone on the train that was in tower. How they found out I don't know. But I mustered up the energy to tell her to stay behind me when we got off to get something to eat because train wasn't serving food. I swatted away the media as they were looking for the person from the tower. The gal stayed on my heels and held my shoulders. We got our stuff and returned to train and fought off the media again. We got on train and she thanked me for helping. I guess my 15 minutes of fame? I didn't think I could do it but I did. It was crazy!!

Like a movie😅 so did you keep in touch with her?
• in reply to
Unfortunately no. Did find out from Minneapolis. In Chicago the train came to a stop and stalled out and the lights went out. All we (passengers)could think was terrorist had stopped us or Chicago was hit (Sears tower). We all sat there not knowing what was going on. It was quiet, then after 10 minutes or so the lights came back on and started going backwards. We were really puzzled. Then we seen we were heading into train station. Still do not know what happened. Then drove from there. Seems like a movie I know but real life for me.

Well you sure were a gentleman to her. Did u ever get her name, mayb look her up on Fb? I’m thinking of this movie called Serendipity 🤣😂😅
• in reply to
No I didn't. I think she wanted her privacy from anybody but family. I guess I'm the type of person to watch out for others than myself. Just glad I could help. No love story here.

Sentimental? Yes. Best seller? No 🤣😂😂. Thanx for sharing your story 🤗
I noticed that this kind of accident always happened to other counties including mine. The caution was not enforced greatly over there. I hope your mom’s friend is doing okay now though.
I think the trains out west would be more enjoyable with the views. Moe wide open. Like in Wyoming, Montana, Colorado. Just guessing.
Excellent and forget the medicines prescribed for the mind as the medicine is with oneself💜💞💜💞💜💜🕉🧘♀️xxxx

Very true meditation and giving our self a visual body scan when we have doubt or fear with our self care our anxious unbelief conscious bias may not be a negative emotive but a trigger point of self delusion our delirium can be a brain activity to coping strategy to remove any convulsions and self aware with the presence Reality
