hi I genuinely don`t like needles but the jabs are important so I`ll get it when the time comes.

i got my 1st dose 2 days ago.

i was so excited when i got the apt. but when i got there was nervous.

i am alergic to a medication so i had to stay there 30 min. to wait to see if i would have a reaction . well the whole 30 min. i was anxious thinking i would have a reaction, kept feeling a little off but kept telling myself it was anxiety and thats all it was. so very glad i got it and i cant wait to get my 2nd dose.

i wish you well.

Hi this is Shnookie. Tho I'm 62, the disability rights center where I work part-time required all of its employees to receive vaccines to show people with disabilities how important they R to fight COVID. The biggest challenge to me was obtaining an appointment. I'm on

Medi Cal called my clinic and yay !! they had an opening on 1 PM on 2/25/2021. I happily agreed to this. The whole process including standing in line and the nurses coming in to check on me took a little over an hour. my left arm was a little tender for two days and that was it. Everybody was so nice that I wrote positive notes on the survey they gave me. It's understandable that U have discomfort, but think of all of the positives. After U take 1 or 2 doses depending on Moderna, Pfeizer or J&J, it takes a month for the potency to kick in. U will be protected in that chances of going to the hospital if U R exposed to COVID R basically none. U will be protecting other people in the world. U will be able to sit in a room still in a mask and socially distant with a friend and have a meal. This will give U more freedom.

Also The shot is very quick. In the upper arm Tell the techs and nurse about your concerns

so they can make U feel more at ease. I U want contact me privately. Good luck. I'm here 4 U. Hugs S. PS it might take a little longer than an hour depending on where U go and the people around U R in a good mood as well

I would have anxiety about NOT having the Covid jab. If you don't have the vaccine you could catch Covid and apart from the illness itself it's now been discovered that there can be after effects of Covid called Long Covid.

When I had the first jab I felt fine afterwards. But I was expecting to feel fine afterwards. Perhaps if I was expecting to feel bad after the jab then my imagination and expectation would ensure I indeed felt bad.

Get the jab as soon as you can. Your arm won't drop off!

Hello, I have been sitting on the fence. I do not do well with medication or shots, have been checking on friends and their reactions. I am talking to myself, my dear friend who is 93 had the phizer shot had reactions both times, but is now over them, another friend had the maderna shot and was OK just a saw arm, she is 79, I am 78. My young hygienist had some awful reactions, but is over them. So I am gearing up myself to go!!! One of my Brothers who is only 60, got Covid, was in ICU 10 days, told me he thought he was going to die. He is now well and home, and recovering. So I guess I'd better get my arm ready and go.....Sprinkle 1

I feel so much better being completely vaccinated.

A lot of people are nervous. Weigh the risks versus benefits. Read up on the vaccines using a reputable site for information.

I'm happy for you that you are on your way to added protection :)

I'm looking forward to getting it. I'm really tired of this damn Covid. I feel like I'll have a lot more freedom once I'm fully vaccinated. I've seen enough evidence where it's safe and effective so I'm not stressed over that. If I get little rash or sore arm feel little sick for a day or two no big deal been there done that.

I have the same feelings as you. I get bad anxiety about doctors & hospitals... especially when it comes to needles. My therapist & I are trying to come up with a game plan for me. She was shocked when I said I was definitely getting the vaccine. I miss my friends, family... hugging my mom... road trips... going to a restaurant after a tough day. I say be honest with the people at the vaccine site... know you aren't alone in your feelings. Take someone with you, if you can.
