I have loved Eric Claptons music and story for almost 50 years. I've seen him in concert w/his friends several times.
I watched/explored his story in greater detail yesterday through documentary on "Showtime". I've known of and supported his recovery efforts , antiqua and some of his story. WOW this film went into the sad details of his addictions to herion, alcohol, George Harrisons wife and his extreme isolation. As well as tragic accidental death of his son Connor and subsequent recovering in his aged condition. OMG - brought me to tears, sadness, empathy, Nostalgia and Gratitude. If you are at all interested in addiction recovery and or rock n roll / blues his story will knock your socks off. In his latter days his connection to "The Divine " becomes obvious and real. OMG 😲 one not to miss.
Everyone have a Fabulous Day. Remember- You Are Loved....

Thanks for the heads up. Luckily I found it. As soon as I wake up from my nap, I’m going to watch it. Saw a lot of other docs I’ll be watching, too. ❤️
Hey my friendIf you wanted to I would welcome later today a private message and your thoughts on movies . I'll be In town taking care of business until around 5pm when I hope to be home. Today's Agenda "
So true. His childhood trauma was clearly explained in this film.
His time with Cream is probably my favorite musical period of his.
I saw him at Crossroad festival in old Cotton Bowl Stadium back in early 2000.
So so many greats at that gathering. In this film that concert is shown and discussed. Also saw him later in his recovery at Irwin Center. Sad bout Jack Bruces passing.
I don't like Eric Clapton so much he had a girlfriend called Alice who died of a heroin overdose in a bedsit after he moved on to someone else , he could've helped her , you have a romantic view of him don't make out he is an innocent victim
