My Anxiety has taken over my life😢. My Pastor says I should live like my dog who takes the time to soak in the beauty of the moment. We live at 10,000 feet on the Rocky Mountains and the Sunset was so beautiful even my Golden Retriever Enzo stopped to look. I will share the beauty with you.

How Can I Be Unhappy In Such A Beautiful Place
Gorgeous picture. It would be great if we could live like Enzo. Looks so peaceful.
Allow Enzo to help you with your anxiety. Animals are beautiful therapists.
Looks like you live in a very cool place. I love the mountains. Hope your anxiety eases up some.
Happiness doesn't come from living in a beautiful place or having all the money in the world. It comes from within. It comes from being able to accept yourself for who you are. That is the foundation that everything else it built from. Once we have the power to love ourselves and care for ourselves we can enjoy and get meaning from things like a gorgeous sunset. But it starts from within. You can spend all day long doing external things. Looking at the world trying to force yourself to see the beauty of the world but it will never work unless you fix what's inside. Now as for the anxiety bit that takes time. Things like mindfulness help us. Anxiety is just a fear response to something that triggers us. If we can manage to recognize the thoughts that are causing us anxiety most of the time that is enough to cope with it. Even if it is just a feeling from an emotion then we can slow down and recognize this which will allow us to deal with it. In the end the trick is to not fight the anxiety but to experience it. To really feel how your body is doing during it and to hear your thoughts while it is happening. Once you can do that you can start to rationalize the anxiety away. Journaling helps a lot with this too.
Well said my friend 😊
endofheartache1290 Such beautiful words Thank you for sharing your insights with me. Hugs from the mountain.
goldens are so smart, Dogs do have a great way of doing things. They have no concept of time. They live in a permanent NOW. They don't worry about tomorrow. There is only today. They don't stress over yesterday. There is only today. Give Enzo a big hug from the Catskills.
Thank you for sharing, Enzo’s mom. It’s just beautiful! I often think the same thing about my sweet pup: if only I could live a life devoted to the moment, where my greatest concern was which toy to play with.
