Hello again everyone I hope everyone is staying safe and well. And I want to thank you all for supporting me and each other during these challenging times.

I’m just going to start by saying I just don’t know anymore to be honest I think I lost my mind long ago for example the fact I just write those words out makes me believe it will happen. I’m going to go through a quick list of my thoughts and beliefs and what it’s like say to day for me.

1.) I believed that the unwanted tenant in my house had put bleach in my bubble bath (the thought just came in and wouldn’t go)

2.) believe she puts things in my food no evidence of this it’s utterly ridiculous.

3.) Sterilise all cooking utensils with boiling water during cooking multiple times including plates

4.) Believe that everything I cook will make me unwell in some way

5.) health anxiety I jump from medical condition to medical condition constantly believing I have something awful

6.) I believe watching certain TV shows doing certain things or even typing certain things will cause bad things to happen I also believe that in certain months something bad will happen

7.) Awful sleeping pattern usually very light sleep ranging from 3 in the morning at best to usual age very bad 4/5/6/7 until midday with little to no affect on my energy levels

Hi, that sounds really tough what you are experiencing. You are still here so she clearly isn’t putting anything in your food or bath. It sounds like you have intrusive thoughts, maybe Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Have you ever spoke to a psychologist/therapist before?

Thank you very much for your reply it means a lot to me:) yes I have spoken to therapist before but not a trained psychotherapist more a councillor they mentioned that I should just ignore them/accept them

I’ve suffered with intrusive thoughts since I was young, I have very little now but that’s because I managed to find out the root cause of why I was having them. Maybe that could be something to explore with a therapist? In my opinion that sounds like bad advice they gave you, you can’t just ignore those thoughts, it’s not as easy as that. Would it help to get a book on OCD?

Thank you again for your reply I’m so sorry you had to deal with this as well but I’m very glad you have managed to get them relatively under control and thank you that would be a very good idea do you have any suggestions?:)
