Snow covered bliss

There is something magical about snow. Standing outside while I let the dog out I watch it fall. Covering my world in a blanket of white. I take a deep breath and enjoy the silence. Many people are still asleep. Others are spending the day at home. For a few moments I am a child again. Taking in the beauty and wonder nature has given me.

I could sit and watch it for hours, i love walking in i too.Everything sounds different and looks peaceful.

We dont get much of it where i am these days, mostly rain.

I used to go to a hypnotherapist, and she would ask me to think of a serene place to go to in my imagination. My favorite place would be inside a cabin in the mountains, sitting next to a roaring fireplace, all warm and cozy, quiet, with a huge picture window, watching the snow fall all around, covering up vast hills and trees at night with a shimmering lake nearby. Thank you for reminding me...❤️🏄‍♀️

Not sure how much we have now but it's still falling. When the storm is over we will probably have at least 12 inches. Much better than the 44 inches we had in December.

I didn't take any photos today. Simply enjoyed it. This afternoon I let the dog out and watched her and my neighbors dogs running in circles. They had their own moment of bliss. It was great fun watching them.
