Thank you very much for your reply it’s strange it’s someone who I live with who’s geared positive from being in contact with them last week but until I found there was a possibility she had it I had no symptoms 🤷🏻‍♂️

Not strange at all. With health anxiety once you hear someone else's symptoms you convince yourself you have it too.You need to educate yourself about health anxiety so what happens won't be such a surprise for you. Think of it like a lesson at school and do your research online. Don't forget Youtube as well. Imagine someone is going to give you a test on it afterwards.

Also d some research on our immune system and basic bodily functions and you will see how strong and amazing our bodies are.

Hi hypercat good to hear from you I hope you’re well before her test came back I was slightly optimistic as she’s not been in contact with anyone from her work got a week so I thought I might be safe but unfortunately it wasn’t to be. It being a week since my exposure though makes me question how severely if at all I’ll get symptoms

At your age it's very unlikely you will die or suffer much from it, as it's mainly the old and those with certain illnesses it gets. Are you going to follow the advice in my response?

I have done research on health anxiety before unfortunately none of it seems to sink in, I don’t quite know why that is. I’m starting psychological therapy in a couple of days so perhaps that will lead to some kind of recovery thank you for your efforts and concern

Adopt A Better, More Positive Mindset

The mindset you have today you can change. If it’s good, you can make it better. If it’s negative, you can make it more positive.

Try not to limit yourself. Refuse to let negative thoughts control your life. Surrender the old stories that don’t serve you anymore.

Start telling a new story – the kind you really want to live out! This is what I’ve been doing the past decade and I can attest to the fact that your thoughts, beliefs, and words MATTER!

Your focus matters. If you’re focusing on things that are negative, you may attract not-so-great things. On the other hand, if you put your focus on things that are positive, you may just attract much more good things in your life. Some refer to this as the law of attraction. Some people think it’s “woo woo”, but give a try for yourself.

Of course, it’s not magical. You don’t just think about something and it pops up out of nowhere.

But what you focus your intent on matters.

Intent can be powerful.

For example.

If you continually beat yourself up with thoughts like, “I’m a failure” or “No one likes me”, those thoughts become beliefs. And, those beliefs tend to cause you to speak and act in certain ways that may cause you to fail at something or push people away.

But if you begin changing your mindset, your energy will change. Your vibes can go from negative to more positive. And, rather than fail or push people away, you may find yourself achieving goals and making friends !
