Finding a job right now is so difficult 😩 I’m only 20 (going to be 21 soon), I wanna buy a few things for myself but I can’t because I’m saving and paying bills and some of uni depts, and I’m literally serving on my savings .. I haven’t applied for benefits because I didn’t know I could. But I don’t want to ... I want to get a job and work and EARN my money. Am I wrong for thinking like this ? Anyway I hope I get a job soon, I check everyday for any vacancies so I’m hopeful🤞🏾

Good luck 🙏🏼 you can do it!
Trying to do it by yourself is a great thing, keep head strong and work hard and it'll come to you. But i would suggest looking into some financial support like benefits, as it such a hard time to get a job. I was made redundant by Covid among having mental health issues its hard to find the right job for me, so long as you don't struggle the same way you'll be in work soon.
Yes I was reluctant to apply for universal credit but I had no choice there’s literally limited vacancies and when I apply I never get the job
I've been having trouble with that too. I'm on 4 job sites, with 3 agencies and the job centre. but at the end of the day my mental health scares them from employing me. but you gotta keep at it, make sure to practice interview skills and google questions to ask in an interview. you are only 20 but your youth works in that way, tell them your enthusiastic about "insert work place here" and love taking on new challenges. they eat that stuff up. But good luck with the job hunting, when covid dies down there should be a need for job, i suspect.
Realist 🙋♀️ You should apply for benefits. You can always not collect. If it is UI they are probably backed up. I do know Amazon is hiring for their warehouses and I believe you can get tuition if that is of interest. Also did you get either incentive?
What is incentive ?
Thank you
