Anxiety thinking heart attack or strokes
LonerGuy, I am actually surprised your heart rate isn't higher than 50bpm. You may be able to control your emotions when playing a game. However, you can't fool your eyes.
When staring at a screen, the eyes have to adapt to constantly changing focus. This adds
strain on your eyes with anything from blurriness, irritation and an off balanced feeling.
Those sensations come not only from the tight eye muscles involve but also the tight
muscles in the neck and upper shoulders. Remember that our neck also has a lot to do with our balance. Since I'm not a doctor, I can only recommend that you see an eye doctor to
check out any physical eye malady. Your eyes may get dry as well requiring eye drops that the physician would recommend if needed.
When on the internet for long periods of time, it is good to take your eyes off the screen
every so often and look far ahead. This helps stretch those eye muscles and relaxes them.
I hope you get some answers as the ER told you,, nothing is wrong with your heart xx
my friend Agora1 said a lot of good stuff and my only advice to you is to try to limit the screen time. try to take breaks and eventually get to the point where your eyes aren't feeling this way. in the meantime you can do something productive like reading, writing, drawing, or working out which can also help to relieve stress without adding stress. it seems like your heart is fine so i think you're all good there. love, lange
