Have there been anyone who successfully overcome anxiety and started living a normal life

I would like to know if there are any overcomer of anxiety as this will give encouragement. Please give response

Yes, i was at my worst last year and then it got better i had really great days, even tho i had ups and downs through some days, i could enjoy myself. I had a good therapist too.

Yes. Have a look at some of my posts on this website. I recovered without medication by learning to make friends with the symptoms and just let the anxiety do its thing.

Other than some mild residual anxiety on waking that lasts no longer than an hour (my anxiety is inherited so will never be entirely free of it) I consider myself to have recovered. I was able to continue with my career and interests, support and bring up two generations of my family and publish two books. My anxiety first made itself felt in 1974.

Like Beevee, I achieved this by ceasing to fight my anxiety and to accept it for a limited period thereby disarming it. This is in accord with the teachings of Doctor Claire Weekes who devised a self-help therapy based on Acceptance.
