Ink-less
When you feel like you've already said everything that needs to be said. So, you sit in silence observing the world around you because you feel there is nothing more you can add to the world. Not that your presence is irrelevant because that isn't true; rather, your focus on your surroundings is required in that moment instead of your next sentence. Having moments of being "still" can feel unsettling at times. But, it can also be beneficial for your psyche because you're taking time to accept where you're at, and acknowledge it may take time to get where you desire to be. Everyone experiences writer's block from time to time, but what gets writers past this is to try and see things from a different angle. So, if your feeling ink-less, try observing life by looking at things from a different point of view.
People often times make the fatal mistake of becoming hyper focused on themselves. People don't grow like that. We need each other in order to grow. I was once told, there are two sides to every story, and then you have the truth. I realized a few things after hearing this. One, is that everyone has their own perspective of a situation. Two, that sometimes both parties are seeing things at a slanted angle and can only get half of the picture. Three, that truth is not dependent on ones perspective.
This is why we need each other and need to take the time to observe and approach others with understanding instead of judgement. So, don't get down when you need time to process the world around you, or feel you have nothing to say. Instead, take hold of moments like this to gain understanding. Who knows, maybe you will find something you needed but didn't expect.
