Hey there, I'm new here. I took the Needs Assessment thing, and it said that "90% of other users in Anxiety and Depression Support identified finding others who have been through a similar experience as an area of concern."
So... I'm looking for other people who have a similar experience: struggling with long-term health issues! I don't have a clear diagnosis, but I have pain peeing and when my bladder is full (for several months), and I have digestive issues (Irritable Bowel Syndrome and acid reflux). I also have joint pain sometimes, especially if I walk too fast or don't stop to stretch.
In addition to these things, I'm having trouble trusting doctors. Many have said that my problems are due to anxiety, which they are not. I don't have faith that doctors will be able to help me or that they will take me seriously. Should I keep trying with doctors? What alternative treatments should I explore? What diagnoses should I investigate?
What's your story? Are you going through anything similar?

Hey, I had to look at that again because it’s so sound like what I’m going through right now. I was making sure I hadn’t written it. Getting old is not that great but I rather get older than die right now. I have lived all these years and I only time I’ve ever been in the hospital is to give birth to my kids basically so now I’m having all these issues all at once. I know we are all born to die but dang. It’s like overnight I start to go downhill quickly. Is there anyway to put brakes on?I do remember one of my doctors back in the day say it is a difference between growing old and growing old gracefully and the difference is exercising and eating right. And exercising supposed to be helpful with anxiety. I’m finding out also anxiety creates other problems so yes the doctor could be right. A GERDS is so sucky. It does not leave a good taste in your mouth even if you had great cake or food that’s really flavorful it’s still leaves a different taste in your mouth at least for me it does. But I’m a keep on running to see what the End is going to be
