Sorry to hear you are experiencing anxiety. I also have dealt with depression but suddenly last year developed generalized anxiety for the first time. Anxiety meds just take the feeling away, it does nothing to get rid of what causes the anxiety so my doctor does not prescribe anything. Anxiety is so hard to live with. Hopefully you will find an antidepressant that works and doesn't cause suicidal thoughts. Once in a awhile when I am tired of depression and anxiety I feel like dying would be better than feeling this way, but I am not suicidal and have a son that I would never want to upset anyway. So I hang in here and hope I can pull out of it. I started therapy a few months ago, trying meet on line with counselor twice a month but he is so busy, that I wasn't able to schedule appts for the next few weeks. So going it alone for awhile. I read of other people on the site with these issues, doesn't seem real somehow. When I look at other people around me, they all seem so together and managing a life with some happiness.

Kinda helps to write about it here on this site.

Switching antidepressants can be horrible,and takes so much time. Something for our nerves during this time just seems to

me, to be merciful. You sound as miserable as I do. Am so sorry.
