Update on prior post about being homeless

2 months ago was my last post. Some members asked for a follow up if things have changed but I dont know how to use this site too much to respond to them all so I'm starting a new "update" post. Sorry if it annoys anyone. I'm not saavy with this forum. In brief, I ended up homeless in the state I grew up in and thought it was going to be a dream moving back. Well it hasn't been what I intended. I can now say after a long 2 or so months, I'll finally have a place to call home in 2 weeks. I'm terrified for several reasons that I won't bore anyone with, but I'm remaining grateful and keeping hope it works out. If it wasn't for a friend finally letting me stay on their couch, I would have ended up in a shelter, and possibly another hospital. I am keeping positive and grateful. I live in fear and paranoia but for today, I'm going to remain excited and not let those fears take control of me. Thank you all who gave such positive and kind words on the original post. I do need to get more involved with this group. Have an amazing day everyone.

I understand that. I had to leave my cats behind with my sister but I'm hoping to now get them back. I'm glad things changed for you. It is horrible being homeless. It crushes me to even say that.

my mum had just died I was living at home as her carer but me and my dad didn`t see eye to eye and he made me homeless fortunately we repaired our relationship though and it helped.hopefully you get the cats back that would top it off for you.
