Can I share something I don't think I want to say to anyone.
Inky was stolen by someone at my front door 18 months ago.
I hope you appreciate my Heart is so broken that I talk about him like he's still here.
A lot of smiling people have great suffering that they are hiding very well. We were so Happy. I have never put away his cat food bowls and litter boxes or all dry and canned foods. People ask me why when I have no cat. I tell them it makes me feel good to be reminded of him. I am crying right now.
Even hardened Cops like my countless pictures and videos of that little boy !!!
Didn't mean to make you feel bad. But so many people like his pictures I thought it's okay if one person knows the truth. Ouch

I am definitely getting another kitten, I just haven't decided when.
I'll keep a much better watch on Him this time. There are people that in order to get a great cat themselves, will actually steal them from somebody else's heart and home.

They also stole my electric bike which I needed to buy groceries. Vandalized my former car really badly repeatedly too. Intentionally damaged my front door as well.
Bad people are not going away. We will all suffer from them. They do it for their benefit and couldn't care less about your interests. Just ignore them and do things another way,
I can't believe I decided before to just live alone forever. I'll get another cat by the end of 2021. I can do that.

Other people's opinions of you can be less important to you when you realize that their #1 concern is their own life and not yours. They are not being evil - it is just human nature for your main concern to be yourself. It's the survival instinct in action. They really don't know you, so don't be too concerned about what they say, whether they are right or wrong.
Disabled kittens on YouTube destroy me. I want so bad for them to be better !! What growth disorder does your kitten have ?? Can she live a reasonably good life even with this?
I know a cats number one need is to be Loved, not their condition. I've seen it over and over - they are so Happy, Even with their condition - they just totally ignore it and enjoy everything else that they still Can do !!!
I'm seriously disabled and I focus only on things I still Can Do. I totally ignore everything else. Others think my situation is almost a death sentence. And have been told that by well meaning people !!
I disagree. I am very happy, even with my condition. I just do not think of what I cannot do ever. I just do things that I like that are very valuable to me, even though others only seem to look at what I cannot do. We just do different things.
Frankly I think most people's lives are very boring, doing the same things over and over and over, trying so hard to get other people's approval instead of doing what makes you happy.
Other are not in charge of your life. You are.
I can't be as physically active as most people, but there's a whole world of things to focus on besides how well I can move around
