I know we spoken about this before but can anyone give me some hope that I can deal with this because until I do I have no hope of returning to work which I desperately want and need to do. I’ve been off now for 3 months.
I wake every morning anxious and then spend most of the day pacing, can’t sit still, can’t concentrate on anything for more than a few minutes.
Since COVID we have had to work from home sitting in front of a computer all day but how can I do this when I can’t sit still for 5 minutes without feeling agitated.
I now struggle to go out as well so feel like I’m in a no win situation.
My partner who also works from home can’t understand as he sees me cleaning the house etc but that’s because I can’t sit still.
Is there anyone that has managed to overcome this as I’m getting frightened now that I will never get back to work?

Hi, sorry that you are going through this. Have you been to a doctor or a therapist? I find that exercising is helpful. Also being around people and friends. Take care and God bless.
Thank you. I’m on medication, the first lot didn’t have any affect and now the doctor has upped the dosage of the second lot. It’s getting harder and harder to push myself to go out.
My partner works from home but obviously he’s working and most of my friends work too.
I know I need to do more to help myself but when you feel like this it’s so hard.
I had also been feeling the same way you do. But I tried writting my thought down on piece of paper thirty minutes before I start studying. It atleast help me to concentrate for one hour. You can try it before you sit for work.
