Xanax and buspirone

Hi Anyone on xanax and buspirone? I am working with a psychologist as well. I get parathesia. I don't like the drug side effects. Any advice?

Hi. I am on both. Xanex for years now and buspirone for about one year. They actually work great for me. If you have just started the side effect may go away soon but if its been a while talk to your doctor about other types of medications. It just may not be a good combination for you. Thanks. It's been a little over 3 weeks. So I'll give it a few more weeks. Actually I think xanax is the good one.

Xanex is the fast acting one but also highly addictive. Its a good combo for me.

Hi ThymeMB, Xanax is a good antianxiety drug. Just a thought, more than the drug

causing parathesia, can be the position you are sleeping in. When I was under immense

stress, I would wake up like you, pounding heart and my hand(s) asleep. I always look for

a reason and found that I tended to sleep in a fetal position with my hands bent in at the

wrists. Cutting off the circulation as well as pressing on the nerves. Once I started with

my meditation and breathing over the years, I never got that feeling again.

Please talk with your doctor regarding those symptoms. He knows your health history. xx
