Ever since I had a major panic attack last month, I’ve been feeling this shock-tingle sensation on my left foot and left hand and muscle twitches randomly happening all over my body. Not to mention I feel light-headed everyday with a sense of brain fog. I’m worried it might be ALS or something like that. I went to two doctors and both said I mostly likely don’t have it after they had me take a test of strength and balance. Both doctors and my entire family tell me all signs point to anxiety but just for peace of mind, I was given a referral to the neurologist. I want to believe all of them but I feel so lost and I feel like they all could be wrong. I’m in my 20s and I desperately need to know. Is it really anxiety? Is this common? Will all these symptoms eventually subside?

I have muscle tingling and twitching right after a panic attack. If it is a major attack the tingling and twitching has lasted up to 2 hours afterwards, but not for days. It is interesting that your symptoms are manifesting on one side only. I hope the neurologist can help you or at least alleviate you concerns.
