Could figure out my problem today

I’m going through a lot right now and I can barely stay out of bed but I was writing someone a letter and realized today is my moms birthday who passed in 2016. She was abusive to me but I still loved her. Then the owner of my apartment complex is making it so this is per free place. You can keep your pet if you’re grandfathered in but I’m not. She’s a companion pet and I heard that was against the law. I’m looking for new place to live but that takes time.

Would your doctor be willing to write a letter on your behalf? My Molly has a letter from my Psychiatirst stating I need a companion dog with me. I know they can't discrimminate against service dogs but I am not clear on the law as far as companion animals go. Most likely different states also have different laws. My mom passed away in 2016 as well. February to be exact. My mom and I were total opposites and she was emotionally abusive but like you, I still loved her.

I have a companion dog and in ia they can’t deny you from an apartment. Sorry to hear about your mom. My mom died January 20, 2016. Sounds like we have some things in common
