A very difficult week, sinking lower and lower. The feelings of worthlessness and hopelessness are driving me into a darker place than I have ever been, even though my battle with depression has been ongoing for years. I cannot see a way out of this. I am very very sad, overwhelmed. Not sure how to find my way out this time.

Sinking lower and lower
That sounds like a really bad week, so sorry
There is always a way, get some photos out, reiterate the good times, cry lots and lots, sleep, start a diary again, look what's caused it this time, we've been through this time and time again, despite what help your health professionals say, we are really on our own and as such have to deal with it ourselves, there is light at the other side, it's just fuzzy at the moment, cry, sleep, get angry, get emotion running through your veins, we are all here, your not on your own.
....but you will find a way through this. Change what needs changing if things are weighing you down. Find a good friend or trustful colleague to share with. Do something YOU enjoy ( I recently booked an airb&b and took myself away, alone for a weekend, it was bliss!)
It is so difficult, so difficult to see a brighter possible time but it will come and you will look back, as you have done before and know that you are strong, powerful and going to work through it!
I'm right there with you wing over. I see no good outcome to my situation. What is going on with you if you don't mind me asking. What started you feeling like this
Yes, you are sinkiing into major depression. It is quite terrible. I perfectly know how it feels. It is difficult to find a way out when you sink so low. You said you have been receiving treatment for depression for quite some time. Perhaps you need to see your psych, maybe he/she can give you something to help you get over this rough patch. I know it is really difficult when you sink so low. I hope for the best for you.
