Joining a support group that is non judgmental. I hope to find a balanced group that encourages one another.

Thank you tail wags! Just talking because I live alone and work full time from home. My family in the city seem to stay busy and I know I need to make friends. I used to faithfully attend church but since COVID or the plaque as my sister calls it, we are more shut in.

Welcome Vicki. I am relatively new here too - joined about a month ago. You say in your post that you work full time from home. I’m currently working full time in my home and it’s honestly more like sleeping at work than working from home! I don’t think it’s the best for my mental health, so if you’ve any great tips on how to work from home - I’d love to hear them!

Hi Vicki, that’s a good question. Unfortunately my family isn’t too supportive. Sometimes I think they’d like to sweep me under a rug. My partner of 22 years has seen me through some bad times. He’s compassionate but doesn’t have much patience. A lot of people are clueless about mental health issues. I’m not sure how I found these great people, but they’ve been very kind and helpful. I bet you’ll feel that way too.
