CBD oil and Citalopram

Hello I have started on 10mg of Citalopram a couple of days ago and I am struggling with it I had previously been using CBD oil which made me calmer Can I take both to alleviate the side affects of the SSRI whilst my body is getting used to it Any advice would be welcome

I think that's really a question that a doctor would be best to answer. I'm wondering, do you think the CBD oil really helps you and how do you take it? I'm curious about it and I'm thinking about trying it. I have a lot of anxiety and I'm tired of pills.

I take the cbd oil under my tongue twice a day You build the dose up until you can tell it is working Do your research on which to take You can feel it kick in after about 20 minutes and yes I did feel calmer and more able to cope with life

It may end up just not being the right SSRI for you, and that is completely okay. I was on that one quite a while ago and it just didn’t agree with me. There are other potential options if in doubt!

Hi I would ask your doctor or pharmacist if you can take both together, it sometimes takes a few weeks for side effects to calm down with citalopram
