I have been on furlough since march but I have a meeting with my boss next week about returning to work. I am not sure what to do as I don't feel ready to go back. Do I tell him about my anxiety and depression diagnosis and talk to my Dr about getting signed off sick or do I force myself to go back. I work in a hotel so also worried about being with multiple households considering infection rate is on the rise in the UK. I'm struggling to go out at the best of times.

Return to work?
Going back to work may help you feel better. It will give you something to do and a purpose. I was working from home for 3 months and am know back in person 2-3 days a week. It was super hard going back at first (all my anxieties had come back during the pandemic) but once I was at work I felt okay. Maybe try going to work for a few days and see how you feel afterwards. Hopefully they have good safety protocols in place as well.
I agree to go back to work as you have to sometime. I hope they are letting you work limited hours to help get you back to work ie a staged return.
Definately return to work it will do you good😊
I am so sorry about the loss of your mum. It is so difficult to pick up after the loss of a loved one ,never mind all the other things going on. However, it is healthy and best to keep oneself busy with important things at times like this. The longer you stay home the harder it will be to go back. You can do it.
