They are tiny and a joy to watch. If I don't startle them I can stand quite close.

I buy hanging baskets every year then transplant the flowers into planters on my deck. Always attracts the butterflies and yesterday I saw the first hummingbird of the year.

Beautiful. I had a bird nest in my purple petunia planter box on my front porch recently, talk about just watching nature and being at peace. It was amazing to witness egg laying and a momma birds efforts to hatch and send her off spring out in the world.

It’s way too hot here for butterflies, get lots in the spring time. Thanks for sharing. 🌺💜

Glad you liked the picture. Yesterday I had a hummingbird visit. First one I've seen this year. Always put the same flowers on my deck. Usually the purple but sometimes I find a different color to mix things up.
