'Depressed or not?

Am new here...... Am not sure if am depressed or not but lately I feel like am losing myself turning into someone am not losing the things that people describe me with. And this process is not happening willingly and I dont know what to do

Hi. Depression certainly has a specific list of symptoms that one must acknowledge or claim to have experienced over a set time. But to do this you must have the help of a professional. It could be a number of things. Depression is very specific

Apart from that I have mood swings like a small thing can jus make me mad and sad but after a while i seem to be fine and then thy cycle countinues and I have freqent mental breakdowns.....
