Ive always had small anxiety, but recently something inside me just "broke" and I cant function at all without almost passing out. My mind seems find, but my body shuts down with sweats, chills, cant breathe. Even going to the store or getting a wierd text i dont like makes me lose my breath. Anyone ever hear of this? What did you do?

Yes!
Stress and anxiety can culminate and manifest in a ton of ways!
You almost need to rule everything else out!
Blood Pressure issues....
Covid....
Basic labs.....
Sucks but take control! ♡♡♡
It happens to me a lot. I just take a minute and sit down; breath in and breath out. Think about something you like or just tell yourself that you need to be ok, there’s nothing wrong, your fine, family needs you... just talk positive to yourself. I just go to the mirror in my house and try to encourage my self to be positive.... breathing exercise are so important. Other option is coming here and read comments or talk. I hate the anxiety and panic attacks... it’s just a bully that always come’s back when you are most calm. Be strong and you are better than it. Xoxoxo
I agree with Lula about ruling other things out. What you describe sounds like how I experience hyperventilation which can take me straight to a panic attack if I don't act. I usually don't notice that my breathing sucks until I start to feel like the air isn't working for me any more. I start to feel chills, tingling, tunnel vision and panic and I know I need to do a breathing exercise. I like to focus on exhaling more than i'm inhaling; nice and slow with a 4/3/6 count inhale/hold/exhale. It takes 3-5 minutes for it to work for me so while i'm doing it; I use positive self talk and a little bit of progressive muscle relaxation in area's of my body that I know hold tension just to try and chill everything out.
