Yes I wanted him to feel good. The fact I felt good about him, was a bonus. I originally signed up to foster end of life dogs. Ended up with mostly 2 year old pit bulls. Loved them all.
My friend really loved horses. English saddle, I think. I don't know much. She stopped after a suspicious barn fire killed most of the boarding horses.
I am not sure if you were just venting. I was a teacher for 20 years. My codependency was real. It was debilitating. It eventually cost me my job.
