Situational depression?

I’ve been depressed in the past but it never lasted long and was typically due to one particular situation. I have always been a pretty happy/content person overall. But for the past two years, since I had my youngest son, I’ve been feeling more and more depressed. I do still think it’s situational. The problem is I can’t really change my situation. I’m feeling stuck and not sure what to do. I’m making my husband miserable. I’m irritable all the time. I just want to lay in bed and shut the world out. I am functional but I feel like I’m getting worse. I have moments when o can fight it a little better and I feel a little more normal but it doesn’t last more than 5-6 hours at a time now. I read an article that said to write down all the things that make you unhappy so you can analyze it all and address the issues. My husband is always asking me what’s wrong and I usually clam up and say nothing but tonight I shared my list. Afterward he asked me if I wanted a divorce because he felt like it all pointed back to him, even though I don’t see it that way. Now we are sleeping in separate beds and I’m feeling worse than before. Apparently the list was not a good idea. I’m so sad and so stuck. I dislike my life and feel like I have no power to change any of the things that are affecting my happiness. Has anyone been through anything similar?

Hi, I feel very similar ... my child is also almost 2. I think that I have been suffering from post natal depression but haven’t had any treatment. I'm going to see my doctor next week, and have booked private therapy ( i found it almost impossible to get access on the NHS). Its really hard x
