Anyone ever been on Escitalopram/Lexapro & smoke marijuana?

Going to start up on 10mg of Escitalopram for anxiety, but as of 3 days ago I’ve started smoking an indica strain of Cannabis & it helps me relax & really lets me just chill. Reason why I want to start up on pill is to help in the day & overall help with anxiety. Therapist gave me an okay on my CBD oil but wasn’t sure on cannabis. Anyone???

I have before while on ssris, for me cannabis made my anxiety worse at times.

I can see that happening if you end up just zoning in to the things that worry you or burdens/problems. For me so far has really let me focus & enjoy my time with my kids, watch a show. Things my anxiety has made difficult. I’m very new to this level of anxiety so that’s why I’m asking because I obviously can’t go high to work. So I’d love to start up med & smoke on the weekends or at night.

Yea it can definitely help some people, its not as harmful as some think although it is still smoke so not the best for your lungs. I think you should talk to a doctor about your issues and see what they say.

I don't take those meds, I do take hemp oil same beifits without the high and smoke.
