Postpartum depression
I have only studied this and it can take a year to go with treatment . Are you getting and treatment?
A year? Wow. I already feel like my world is ending. I was given some pills by gynae in the 1st month of the birth of the child. I felt better afterwards, until a few weeks ago. My baby wakes up every 1 to 2 hours at night and I am so tired.
I am sorry you are struggling with PPD. I had it after my second child. Unfortunately, for me it turned into clinical depression. Please talk to your doctor. If after a few weeks you are still feeling bad you might look into getting on depression medication. Depression is a chemical imbalance that happens in the brain and with the right medication can get you balanced. Also, therapy helps too . Talking to a counselor you learn coping skills and what might be your triggers for depression. Mine was I have a perfectionist personality which is totally impossible as a mom. I had to learn to let things go, not try to be in control all the time, give myself a break, and not be hard on myself. Here is more information on PPD. bit.ly/2zmFXrp
