Letting toxic people out of my life!!

I just need to take this out of my chest!

I finally said stop!!!

Remember the girl I talked about in my last post?!? Well I finally put a stop to her, I blocked her on every social media I have, and I haven't seen her physically for a couple of weeks (thank God for that!)

I know this looks silly or irrelevant, but I think it's a big step for me. I was always afraid that if I did block her on social media, what would she say about me there, but today I was just like "who cares, she's super toxic, just cut every way she has to get to you"

Anyway...I just need to write this, because for the first time, I fee strong!

Bullies feed off of our fears, anxieties, and know how to push our buttons. They are cowards with low self esteem so they try to raise their own low opinion of themselves by either physically or emotionally beating someone else down.

As with what you have to do with a narcissist or a sociopath, you do with a bully...stop feeding the beast. They feed off positive attention equally as with negative attention.

What you did was exactly right and exactly what you should do. And 'who cares' what they say, anyone your interested in talking to or being friends with who would care what this person has to say....is not a friend.

I think when we finally have this kind of epoch moment in life...we begin healing, and learning to value ourselves. Taking back our power is an amazing feeling.
