Anxiety/depression new meds

Hi, I have anxiety and depression and I used to take escitalopram and risperidone. I'm now on early days of Abilify and L-Theanine. Wondering if anyone had any experience with these. Thanks!

L-Theanine which is found in extract of green tea is supposed to counteract high cortisol which peaks about 8am and can cause anxiety.

About a year ago I tried L-Thianine in 500mg tablets, 50mg tablets and in Green Tea itself.

For me, the high concentration tablets had no beneficial results whatsoever. Starting the day with natural green tea was possibly helpful though this was most likely auto suggestion.

Another herbal tranquiliser I have never properly is Lemon Balm or Verbana where the leaves are dried into for use as a tea or eaten raw when newly formed. It looks like mint but has a lemon fragrance when crushed and is common in gardens.
