I’ve been experiencing general anxiety and OCD for years. Whenever there is a period of high stress or intense worry, I get a sharp increase in symptoms after a few days. This happened about a month ago; it sent me to the ER even though I knew it was probably stress induced it was that bad.
Some intense symptoms have calmed down however I’m still experiencing severe anxiety, and pulsatile tinnitus which is new for me. Anyone else have this?

I start thinking I have tinnitus for the last several months. I hear a constant high pitched buzz or ringing in both ears. I was trying to describe the sound to my wife and daughter and they didn’t believe me. Then I found a website that had examples of noises that people with tinnitus experience. I turned one on and I didn’t hear anything. Several seconds later, my wife yells at me to turn the sound off b/c it’s annoying. I didn’t hear it b/c that was the noise that I have been constantly hearing. Thank goodness the sound does not keep my up at night or keep me from working.
Even though I don’t suffer from that one specific side effect you mentioned, I do suffer from severe anxiety on a regular basis. I found myself a great therapist who has helped me deal with it and I have actually had my anxiety decrease significantly-I highly recommend you get one if you don’t have one already. Practicing Mindfulness helps a lot (you can find tons of info on the topic online-I especially like the website Mindful.org). Best wishes...
