Coming off Sertraline due to weight gain

Hi Ive been taking Sertraline 50mg for 5 months. My anxiety has reduced and Im feeling much happier but I feel Ive put on weight since taking it. Has anybody else experienced this? And/ or what was your experience coming off Sertraline?

I have been on sertraline 100mg for just over 6 months and my depression is slowly getting better.

I have gained weight, but it's because of another medical problem I have and not due to my sertraline.

Hi - I’m on 75mg and have been for about a year - I have put on an extra 1 stone but to be honest I’m over 6ft so can easily carry it, and maybe it’s because I’m happier I eat a bit more, but regardless of this personally I feel much happier due to the tabs so any weight gain is far better than how I was feeling.

I started taking sertraline in 2010 and did notice weight gain. I have to watch my food intake now when before I didn't have to so much. Not sure if it's all due to sertraline though.
