I’m grateful for stumbling onto a talk on CALM about mindfulness that’s got me thinking, interested in learning, seeing, trying, changing, improving my life and the life of my children through meditation and understanding what our bodies are trying to tell us when we suffer.
I will make time for this.

I am curious why I am so afraid. I don’t know how I got to this point. Has anyone figured out why the anxiety started where the fear came from , I wonder?
Hi Starrlight! The fear is terrible for me when my anxiety is high. I always find that there was no reason to be afraid but at the time the fear is very overwhelming. I've been working really hard on trying to be conscious of my breathing when this happens. Taking deep breaths and trying to quite my mind seems to help.
I have also started meditating and listening to sound baths on YouTube. It is sometimes hard to keep my thoughts from racing but I am getting better at it.
I am thankful for the beautiful warm sunny days we have had lately 🌞 Hope you are having a good night.
Hi Lostmyself! I was just deep breathing and trying to relax before bed but the fear keeps up. I’m glad the meditating is helping you. Yeah true it can be difficult when the mind races but we do our best. I did a time of meditation with my kids tonight. Well, keep up the good work. 🙏 😊
I’m thankful that I’m breathing and being alive. Grateful for my family. My experience of anxiety is scary as hell and I’m trying to accept it. Mindfulness can be useful and I started doing it again more consistently. It’s hard no doubt and it’s a lifestyle change not necessarily a quick fix. I’ve been doing headspace for 31 days.
That’s great you’re meditating more consistently , PT. What a great practice to bring to your life. I’m trying to get back into it myself. Keep up the great work! 🙏 😊
