It’s been approx 40 days since my 6th infusion & I am doing excellent. I would summarize the experience as well worth the cost! I feel as if layers of negativity & oppression were peeled away enabling me to experience joy in life again!! I am still on same meds, but back to exercising, hobbies & participating in life with enjoyment!! Very GRATEFUL TO GOD!!

Ketamine SUCCESS-🤗
I discussed this therapy with my therapist yesterday. Thanks for the good report. Anything else you might like to share that would be good for me to know going in?
The clinic I went to was helpful & eased my concerns & fears. I entered in with trepidation & had to fully embrace the experience as one more piece in the puzzle. I had nothing to loose IF it didn’t work. I had to try. I was positive & enjoyed each session with relaxing music & set aside these afternoons for self care & being in the moment. It was life changing. I will return for a booster when I feel it is necessary to stay balanced. I am looking forward to discussing my experience with my psychiatrist at May appt.
Wonderful news. I really hope I get to try this someday, although now that day is probably even further away.
I love seeing and hearing stories like this (: I started ketamine therapy I believe around last August. My therapist suggested it to me. And I jumped. It was the most amazing thing!! It has helped me tremendously.
My clinic I am going to for this, has recently changed how they do everything. They lowered everyones mg dosage, and how many shots they give in a session. I used to get 6 shots at 110mg. Now I can only get 3 shots at 100mg. I have noticed quite a difference in how it’s affected me. And not for the better. I may be rethinking my options.
But I am so happy for you!! And so happy for the relief you have found! 💕💕💕💕🤗
Thanks for the information. I have asked my GP and two psychiatrists in the UK all of who have warned me off it. Is a shame that the medical profession don't really understand or agree with this treatment.
I had ketamine infusion therapy in the UK, I was an inpatient at the time. It was recommended by my psychiatrist at the time, I also had TMS. Unfortunately I didnt have any luck with either treatment, the ketamine reacted badly and I had to be sedated, and after months of TMS it had had no affect on my depression and anxiety scores. That said I have now been diagnosed with personality disorder so I guess being treated for depression wont help! Keep persevering with the treatment you want and deserve, it has got a lot of positive reports, I guess on the NHS there just isn't enough evidence to support it and privately they are expensive to fund.
Thanks that helpful. I had TMS and it worked then I got depressed again after a "life event" . I was halfway through TMS for the second time before all this virus stuff happened. The treatment worked again but my mother passed away about month later I got depression again. I want to finish the second TMS but the lock down is prevent this.
Yes. Personality disorders run the show most of the time. I'm headed in next week to start Ketamine Infusion. I'm hoping for enough of a breather from constant crisis mode that I will have time to work on the very hard and long journey of managing my PD. Hopefully I'm one of the ones it randomly works on.
Our Ketamine clinic is & has been open thru this covid ordeal. They also do the ketamine infusions for pain. I went thru the doctors at the center for pain management. Most insurances cover for certain conditions; but not yet for mental health reasons.
Keep us updated. Very interested in ketamine therapy. Never heard of it before today. Could this be the "miracle" we've all been looking for?
